this might evolve to a tshirt print in the future, with a handful of other cars such as those being listed in the pic. as you can see it's not completed in this picture and stamped as sample just for the sake of security. should i add/remove anything? anything about the typography i should change? picture quality has been reduced for 56kers

From what i can see, it looks like you left a space for the license plate (cuz its white in the middle on the bumper). Why not just fill it with color? Unless you left it like that for a reason. (I.E. Going to put something like, RPS13, S13, S14...etc)

Not to mention that isn't the only "Zenki". At least put Zenki S14 so you don't offend the S13, and Coralla guys.

i think the basic drift_ theme is a little dumb, but that's the style of the shirt so don't change it. im sure a lot of people will buy it partially because of that. however, if you're going to use that theme, dont put zenki and kouki, and make it a standard set. #1: ae86, fd3s, fc3s, s13, s14, s15. #2: corolla, rx7, silvia, soarer, skyline. #3: chuki, zenki, kouki. personally, id use either #1 or #2. but whatever you use, either use all chassis codes, or all model names, or all generation nicknames, not a mixture of all.

i have to admit, typography is out of line. tew photy, you're definitely right. i thought about it while setting up the text. it's hard to think what's the general crowd out there is thinking. a lot of people are familiar with 240's nowadays, and i'm only here to assume zenki and kouki means what we think. i honestly can't put in s14zenki cause it's too long for a shirt. maybe s14bmc though... or just stick with s14 for both generation models. i understand the format's gotta appeal to everyone. there are zenki's and kouki's of basically almost all models of cars. what should i do?! s14zenki on a shirt looks way too long.... s14a/b? that's so 1999. i might change the wheels, seeing how it was my car and that was the theme for 2003. i'll look into work emotion (aka the new fn's). i am going to leave the license plate as is. i'm not going to include any characters in it because of the nature of the car's drawing. the license plate is just there for the effect of realism. there's a hint of grey in there. maybe it's your computer screen. as for the drift_ theme, there's gonna be other stuff like drag_ , grip_ , street_ (otherwise, known as stock), basically anything that seems appropriate with of course, the appropriate cars for that particular group. yes, i have a handful of cars already drawn up for this particular drift style project, including this car in full. gotta start somewhere. thanks for the input.
how on earth did you know it was my car? =\
hey Jeff, or anyone that is the real big dawg of this forum. please give me a PM. thanks

Dont forget the zenki impreza guys. The design is crappy in my honest opinion. Theres no art here just a car and random text i betcha you used that photoshop filter called... yes i can do a copy of in less than 30 sec. Check drift units shitsnitz. http://driftunit.com/V2/images/desktops/desktop_MMdriftposter.jpg thats art.
You might be just starting but get some photoshop tutorials or if you are using anything else same shit get some tutorials. good-tutorials is a good place to start. Just get creative. Im tired of people using a photoshop style/filter on something and saying they created some kind of art like they took a lot of work to do. I ROFLMAO at magazine ads that use photoshop styles or filters. Even if you are just trying to create something simple and clean its still needs some uniqueness to it.

I think its going to be a #1 seller.
And sorry for the thread jack.
Now, for some useful input, lately there have been an influx of drifting shirts going around. Im not down with the trend, thats y i wear black shirts all the time, and wouldnt' buy one. I think about it as it is. In Japan, people drift when they get off work, as a casual sport. in America, kids nowadays go try to drift on a nightly basis, and try to make a career out of it. Drifting isn't a sport you should practice 24-7. drifting is a hobby. And people that like to showboat they drift with million stickers and 'i <3 drifting' stickers can really do what they like for all that matters. I like icecream, and going off topic.
The question you should really first answer is one to yourself. do YOU think its cool? Or are you just trying to impress people? When it really comes down to it, its all on you.

Wut... stickers give you hp and make your car pretty. :). I think you are right about the new "drift shirt" trend. Its like japanese guys wearing nascar t-shirts?... exactly. Or how about someone in japan wearing a football something shirt.

you're right. and unfortunately, and my main audience that particular large crowd, and the minor crowd would have to be real enthusiasts. the sad thing about society here in the states is that trend in general does its completely own share of revenue my very large numbers. what good can a tshirt do if someone sells it to strictly real enthusiasts? there wont be enough expoure to make it a profitable project. on a side note, turning to the real community first is key to good brainstorming.

Better to ask about the failure to a control than going out, not knowing what'll sell, or if it flounders.
But personally, i wouldn't buy any drift shirts. A few guys are on the same boat i am on this. if they see you repping 'driftstatus' they'll harass your ass, and have your shit stolen. Its like big stickers. Then again, i do like stickers... just not on cars to flash around. But support the community. If you make one, i'll buy it for my bro, cuz he likes flash, and so does his bf.
