Korean Thug Police (http://nonse.com/?p=34)

Those cops don't play around, some of those hits they give the people, you can see em coming from a mile away, and that is what makes them so hardcore. The cops roll deep and mess fools up.

Is anyone Korean here that can tell us what the people are rioting about?

AAHHAHAAH hilarious.

This is all I have to say about it. I hate one sided videos that don't show both sides of the situation. The video is pure crap in my opinion for this very reason.

1. I have read up on Korea’s state of affairs in 2003 and their constitution and government.
2. They do not have the same government system or constitution as western states because it is not practical to them.

the problems:
-several of the people were armed - it only takes a few to ruin it for the whole. If one is violent then he can induce the rest. Blame that guy for giving the bad police reason.
-very few of the officers were actually involved in human rights violations under the korean law - and if you’ll look closely many of the officers are actually trying to control those officers who are brutalizing
-an order to dispurse was more than likely given seeing as how the people were blocking the main roads and disrupting order
-the police are only pawns - the orderwas handed down from above to bust up the crowd because they were disrupting order.
-only those involved in the protest were attacked - notice the press wading through the battle unscathed (Korean constitutional freedom of speech intact)
-this was not a normal police action - this was a very high potential for a riotous situation and this is why the police weren’t going to take any shit (when they call in the riot squad it’s game over - people will be subdued by any means necessary)
-you have to remember that this was clipped together by the media and we all know how the media loves to skew and twist things.

I am in the criminal justice field and after looking reports from this icident and korean law, I can say I saw injustices performed by some of the police officers involved but I also can say that the police action, overall, was messy but effective and successful.

There are pieces of the consitution that addresss honor, morals, and the like; the protesters were disrupting (victimizing) the lives of those citizens not involved in the protest. This could have been considered an attack on the state because of this.

The thing is, the police just don’t go around autonomously and beat the hell out of people for fun in any country with western influence. The police, with the exception of a few, did their job. You’ll notice that those are police helping the injured too.

Ok now let the donut jokes fly!

nice video find. in my opinion, we should have this type of police force in America because there is too much crime going on and people getting away with many things. i did find it disturbing looking at how an innocent person just stood there then got attacked by thousands of them.

These were just regular civilian police. Now imagine the Military Police. They will put you in the ICU. No joke. My dad told me stores of how they used to go around breaking arms and legs so they couldnt run away.

that video was money. I love to see innocent people getting beat up. Or even bad people, as long as i think they were just bystanders. I like this video cause it makes you think they just go around beating people up. There should be more videos such as this one.

You got to admit, you would be the same way if you were in their shoes. Doing nothing but paper work would bore me, so having an exuse to beat the crap out of a flock of sheep would better my day.

Now on the serious note, in the film, who do you think died.

IM watching this at work. But its still loading. I can't wait to see the mayhem. I hope my boss doesn't check the forums. I like pizza.

But really, its crazy how everyone gets owned. Too bad we don't get fucked up like that in the States.

Fun to watch, but if it was you it was happeneing to, you'd run. and grab passing girls' packages. and hopefully not get hit with that riotgear.

Yea that video was crucial... I am korean myself and to see that wow.. It is very true that Korean people have short tempers.. and those riot police demonstrate it.. But like the guy stated above.. there was reasoning behind all of this.. So to all of you guys that get a thrill out of watching this kinda footage..
:duh: :duh: Go watch some Rob Zombie movies or someshit.. And dont ever mouth off to a Korean Sheriff.. All hell will break loose!
