This motor runs but VERY SLUGGISHLY.... needs work. pulled motor with 172k miles on it. Located in West Hills, Southern California.

Previous owner told me it is a burnt valve.

i bought the car, i drove 30 miles back to my place, and my guess was that the burnt valve was due to old spark plugs and spark plug wires. it did seem like it was driving on only 2 or 3 cylinders.

there is also an exhaust leak right at the headers since the previous owner probably tried to mess with the engine, lost bolts that hold on to headers, and didnt seal up the headers back. sounded really loud.

tranny is fine, shifts good. but a service on it wouldnt hurt.

feel free to ask any questions. shoot me pms or im me at tnh023 on AIM.

i am willing to part the engine for necessary parts that you may need.

i also do have the AC unit, since i removed that too. seems to be in working order.

thanks.

How much for the cylinder head?
(i just need the bare head, my KA24E head has crossthreaded spark plug threads)

*EDIT*, i wouldn't want a head with a burnt valve. nvm nvm.

hamsterball - the head should still be decent. the valve wouldnt have cracked the head or anything, or else i wouldnt have been able to drive or start the car.
