One of the first clear corners that started the trend began with the 92-95 Honda Civic. It was like this, just take a screw driver or some kind of stabbing tool and break off all the orange reflector inside carefully. Then presto, instant clear corner.

Mike (old_s13) at clearcorners.com utilizes awesome Home Depot SPL parts like clear reflector things and custom make 'em by hand. Not very high tech.
Nowadays, you can go to China/Taiwan and have OEM lighting copied pretty good.
bleach.
They bleach them.
you can do it in your own dishwasher.

Will that work? I thought about that, I have some spare signal lights/ turnsignals I can test this out on.

they use lenses for flourecent lighting. You can get it in many patterns, but it is kinda fragile. You remove the old lens (heat the glue to seperate it) then pattern and glue in the new [clear] lens.
Easy in concept, difficult to do without breaking shit.

Kinda hard to believe that bleach will clear the orange in the plastics.

well, half way. I thought it sounded stupid, but I wonder what would happen if I used bleach/ paint thinner/ something like that. out of curiosity. though I guess if they are molded in orange plastic, not coated, that wouldn't work.

Paint thinner will melt the plastic if you leave it on long enough.

hahaha, IT WAS A JOKE.
They are molded in orange plastic, and unless you use magic bleach that can pull pigments out of hardened plastic, all it will do is mar the shit out of a perfectly transparent lense.
the ClearCorners products seem to actually be quality products now, but I would still never get "clear" anything on my car, besides the headlights. (ok, actually my headlights are yellow. Thank you s14 zenki, you honestly look like my headlights are full of piss)

plastic injected molds.......... what if, and this is a idea by the way..... u take ur light.. take it apart.... and take the cover to a plastics place... and tell them id like u guys to make the same thing.... but clear, no orange.. and how much would it cost..... most likely theyll make a mold fill the mold with plastic pellets... heat it up... and then wah lah.. new lens... and its clear....
and to the statement about thinner melting plastics...... daymn right it would........
