View Full Version : FS: Complete KA24DE engine w/ 5spd trans

I have a complete 1992 KA24DE engine for sale with a 5spd transmission.

The engine and trans have about 128,000 original miles on them.

I am located in San Diego, CA

The engine and trans are in perfect condition.
The engine has been using Mobil 1 Synthetic motor oil and is changed every 3,000 miles and still runs strong, it also uses NGK iridium IX spark plugs.(6,000 miles)

I will include Accel Thunderseries sparkplugs for an extra $40(used only for 3,000 miles).

The transmission has been using Redline Synthetic transmission fluid 75w-90 with synchromesh. Shifts very smoothly and doesn't grind in anygear

Local pick up is preffered but I will ship at buyers expense

The motor and trans are still running my car and are gonna come out at the end of the month.

I am still driving the car as a daily driver. I will consider letting people drive my car to see how they like the engine and tranny.

I am super duper interested, but I'm in Boise, I'll have to wait until I get back into San Diego in a couple weeks. what part of SD are you in?

thats cool, I live by Mission Valley. The motor and tranny are not gonna come out until the end of this month.

awesome, I think I'll be doing my install at a place in mission valley, so that would be so perfect. I'll definitely be talking to you when I get back, and hopefully certain people pay me money that they owe me.

I'm still interested, my Idaho trip is gonna be a little extra long, but I'm glad you bumped the thread because I'll really be needing a KA with a 5 speed pretty soon.
