I have adjustable TC rods (cheap blue ones on ebay). I have a really annoying clunking in my front suspension over sharp bumps. I know it's not blown struts (less than 5000 miles on AGX w/ Eiback ProKits). I have checked everything for tightness.
I do know i need new LCA balljoints, since the boots are both cracked open. I'm guessing that may be where the clunking is coming from.
But I'm trying to take everything out of the equation. How tight to I tighten my TC rods? Do I need lots of movement in the spherical bearing? Mine is so tight that I can't move it by hand. It used to get loose and start to clunk/feel loose when I braked (broke?)... so I tighten it up really well, greased it up and used locktight... Could this be the source of my clunking? Or am I really needing ball joints?
