Yea, me too. while we're oh Photoshop tutorials, how do you make those Chiba cars I think is what they're called, when you photoshop the car to look really small, and the wheels really big.

to make a chibi car:
-cut out the wheels and the right amount of the fender
-deform the original picture (shrink it horizantally)
-paste the wheels back onto the picture and place them
-edit it so it looks good

the gangster way to do it is to take 2 pics. one with the car in the shot, one without. that way you don't have to squish the background too. looks waaaaaay better

I'm pretty happy with it for my first try, and a mouse that doesn't always work. :D I know what I'll do different next time for sure.

much better? HOW?!?! u must teach.
1. go find a place whre you wanna take a pic of your car
2. put your camera on a tripod
3. take a pic of your car
4. don't move the camera
5. move your car
6. take a pic of the place without your car in the shot
7. go home. don't forget your camera on the tripod
8. open the pic of the car. cut the car out.
9. paste the car onto the pic with no car.
10. do whatever you want to the car. it won't affect the background.

I hightly reccomend adobe Illustrator for this type of rendering. IMO it is a much more streamlined program, especially for using the pen tool. The organization of layers is just wonderful too. Not to mention MANY MANY more "ctrl z's" than photoshop. PS and AI work great in unison though, I use the combination of the two for a lot of my design work.
