If any of that stuff is true, that basically means that the new D1 sponsored cars will be like any car that we could own. That's kinda cool, but also kind of lame, people can't run RBs in S13s, SR20s in FDs, LS1s in FCs, no s2k engines in AE86s etc. O the carnage those lame rules will create.

I heard about that. You would think that's what it is.... but its limited to only the top D1 seeded drivers, and its kinda like "fun" exhibition-type competition rounds. I mean, less races, less serious, etc etc. LAME!.

No, you guys... its a NEW SERIES! Its like a fucking sideshow to the D1 Circus. All the top seeded drivers are gonna be driving POS stockish cars and apparently the fans are going to like seeing this? OR something. Bah.

I would like seeing a more stock showdown instead of fully built cars that are way out of my price range. I think it would hit closer to home for some fans that have a smaller budget than some.

this is almost like the best motoring hai series, or drift tengoku. i seriously am frowning on the stock brake dimension rule. at least allow brake swaps. I seriously feel this series spin-off will shoot itself in the foot because of being too limited.
