All our arms now include upgrades self contained, self lubricating Teflon ball joints that are wrapped in dust covers for longevity and protection. Yes, for those with our first generation arms, we will be offering these new upgrade ball joints with boots for purchase individually in the near future. We expect to be fully stocked with the separate ball joint components within the next month. Pricing is still pending.

We have also reduced the weight of the components by 15-18%. Compared to Japanese competitor components of the like quality (ie: Kazama, Nagiza) aluminum tension rods, which are never recommend on a street car, ours are only 0.4 lbs heavier. 0.4 pounds of additional weight is by far worth the trade off to have a much stronger component.

The rear camber arms now featured in chromolly and offer more adjustability. (Approximately up to 3 degrees of negative camber for the road and auto cross racers)

The Powertrix tension rods and front camber arms are made of heat tempered forged steel or chromolly. These suspension components under go massive stress and entire weight transfer of the vehicle. We recommend steel for these components to ensure structure ability under stress. Our arms have been Drag and Track tested under the most rigorous scenarios at the road courses of Willow Springs, Button Willow and California Speedway Drag strip with several different adjustments and are used and trusted by all Major Twinturbo.net Forum Vendors for their personal and race prepped vehicles.

i know this has been asked before but there were always mixed opinions on this...are rear toe and traction rods for track use only? they good for daly driver.
id like to hear what an actual company rep like CPARK has to say.

On pdmracing's website (Battleversion section) It states that traction rods are not needed. Toe links however, are recommended because the change in camber will also throw off your toe settings when dropping a car, in general. For the price why not get the whole kit, in my own opinion.

just picked mine up today... but i'm thinking of powder coating them a diff color... silver, white, gloss blue or charcoal with silver flakes... will be able to get it done for 100cnd or less with blasting and powder coating... nice deal tho.. cost me 600us + 100cnd power coating(depending on color)..

ps: since the tension rods and front camber arms are made of heat tempered forged steel or chromolly.. would it be ok to powder coat and sand blast them?

Just wondering if anyone has put these on and any feedback regarding them? Charles, is there any warranty on these things?

shogun!

Yes I have them installed on my speeder.
Have spoken with a professional wheel alignment guy who will tune them for me. A bit more noise added (coilovers/arms/rods/subframe bushings) but the result is: Chassie far more rigid and respons awsome.

The weldings are good and the material quality 100%
The chrome plating is a good rust protection and also give some added bling.

Yes, We are the only company in the competiton suspension market that offers a limited 1 year warrenty on our components in regards to manufacturer's defects, welds, etc. We will offer direct replacements if there were any issues. We can not warrenty the arms in event of an accident.

No, all our components are heat tempered forged steel or chomolly. Aluminum can have the tendancy to bend and flex changing the geometry of the suspension. Though many companies use aluminum for thier products and have never reported any type of problems or failures, we choose to use a stronger material with more structural integrity as the wieght savings of using aluminum is almost non existant (only a .4 lb difference from our tension rods to an aluminum SPL, Cusco, or Kazama set)

Through personal experience, we have seen aluminum tension rods snap on a road course canyon run. The pics below are of a Kazama tension rod. The aluminum looks so porous that it appears to be made out of cast aluminum. A part made out of cast is always weaker that a billet machined piece. So the particular part in question is now for 2 reasons not recomended. 1. Its aluminum. In our opinion that material is not strong enough for the use of the part. And 2. this particular piece appears to be cast aluminum which would be even weaker than if it was billet machined. It is for these reasons we decide against manufacturing aluminum suspension arms that take the blunt force of the car's wieght compounded by the road conditions.
