yea it's another eBay manifold, but i didn't know if it would be any better than the SSauto manifolds... anybody use it?
Seen this before and also questioned it myself. I may be the ginue pig after I have the SR installed. I see no need to spend $5000 on a fullrace mani.

Thats the same one as the ssauto. So get it for $150. My bottom mount from them has lasted 8 months now with no problems.

I'm the guineapig. I installed this manifold and 2 days later there was a pinhole at the collector btwn runners 1 and 2, and a cracked wastegate flange. Oh well, fixed it up at Garage Works (Cullen the owner is a maniac TiG welder!) and it's been a couple days since, not cracked yet. But when you count the days your manifold stays intact, instead of months or years, something IS wrong. Haha. Oh well. I can't afford anything else, if this lasts, cool, if not... fuck it... log mani.
Note: the exhaust shop braced my d/p wrong... they braced it before the flex pipe and bolted the brace to the engine. LOTS of vibration i'm sure. I'm pretty 100% this is the reason it cracked in 2 days, but the fact of the matter is it still only lasted 2 days. I took that brace off and welded the problem areas of the manifold, so it should last way longer. SHOULD. We'll see.
Another note: The manifold fit great. Everything clears everything and nothing was warped etc... I hope that i'm going to be pleasantly surprised, but i'm not expecting anything. This mani should be FINE for a track car. But a daily driven/beat/drifted track car? I don't think ANY tubular mani will be happy.
keep us posted about this mani. My pops is a welder and i may have him re-weld the whole dam thing. Thanks for the info.

Well, re-welding the damn thing is good and all- and it helps- but the fact is this mani is 2.3mm wall tube and something like HKS (3mm) or Full Race is 3+ iirc. And the 3mm stuff (and more) is beyond expensive to buy, hard to bend, hard to weld... etc. That's really where the longevity is from, the thickness of the tube and the QUALITY of the stainless. Full Race is the best quality stuff you can get and it costs an arm and a leg more.
