Some of you may know that I occasionally take people to task for saying irresponsible or stupid things. I admit, I have a couple of buttons. However, I ask you to observe the following (it will take some time):

http://www.altimas.net/forum....umber=1 (http://www.altimas.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32327&pagenumber=1)

What happens when you get one guy looking for a set of wheels for his girlfriend's car... that visits a board dedicated to one of our Nissan bretheren... and witness information that doesn't jibe with his racing background. I'm sure Takumi will recognize many of these members from a certain "other" board we have in common. Just so you guys know where I'm coming from when I go on a rant - I share a couple boards with these guys! YIKES!

*edit* dammit - I meant to post this in chat... now s13grl is going to ream me! &nbsp;Sorry &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> &nbsp; Oh well - it does offer more usefull tech info about brakes than I've seen in one thread before!

Hippo,

That mess just taught me that most of those guys are screwed up, what a waste of time bantering too and fro. &nbsp; My head hurt after that!

The poor bastards that buy crap from that guy, they will learn... eventually <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

holy crap... I read like 10 out of who knows how many pages... and I must agree w/ the guy arguing against x-drilled, though I must admit his attitude wasn't the best...

Haha, that's a really insane thread though! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Black200sxSER has a really good point about tirez.

NissanLunatic is just promoting his companies product, which is obvious and nothing wrong with that. but once again, i dont think stock size rotors, even crossdrilled will provide a significant stoping power for "spirited driving". biger rotors+better tires=wayToGo.

"bench racers" - hahahaha, that just made my day,

That WAS very informative.. parts of it were worth the read anyway. It is somewhat alarming that so many people are in the dark about such simple concepts as how brakes on a car work when they use them every day of their life.
