Here's the DVD quality divx one with the subtitle file. But you need a special player to play it with the subtitles. Otherwise you better understand Mandarin Chinese.

The movie was ok. I knew they'd butcher the original story but enough of it is there to be interesting. Faithful to original = no, interesting movie = yes.

I think they were concentrating more on the drama between people than the cars themselves.

the movie was decent... i used the klite codec pack which had "directvobsub" which i guess opened the subtitle file when i watched the movie

Race scenes are kinda retarded, you see the KM/H jump as fast or faster than a tach.

-The story line doesn't follow at all.
-characters don't even fit somewhat close to the anime
-looks like everyone is still in the 80's clothing wise
-looks like a young and dangerous movie meets fast and furious.

you guys know what im talking about.... Mandarin and Cantonese are both Chinese, well ya the canto version.

Anyways the movie was very good. That thing with the tach was kinda weird but ohhh well, a 2 second scene dosent make it a bad movie. Besides this is a movie not the anime, you cant fit the entire series into one movie. I like how they chopped up all the main points and as far as im concern the movie does follow the storyline close enough, the flow of the movie made sence... kinda like the cliff notes version of the timeline!! you cant make it an half hour drift down the dam hill like the anime... I do not think they could of made it any better, in terms of the drifting in it, the cars, the cast fit the part's also. Some elements were changed, not enough to hurt the movie. The main story was there, the characters personality was intact, just bunta is now an abusive drunk hahaha... But still a great flick, i'd recommend it, for those who like movies with a nice story and arnt nitpicky about stuped shiit..

i dont get how u guys are having trouble finding a cantonese version.. it was released in freakign HK in cantonese first... use BT and find the real media version, that was the first one that was out, and which was also in cantonese.
