I was able to fit the h3 hid in without any issue's, you'll just have to make a custom wiring harness to get it to work.

Yes, on the USDM pop-up headlight you will need H4 type 12000k. Price is 280 shipped. The different beween all the H's you ask, it apply to different application. For example, WRX use 9007, Mazda 6 use 9006... etc. 8k, 10k and 12k jsut color differnce. But higher the k won't help you see better. Unless you have foglight then its different story. Higher k make it seems to be brighter. Any more question please let me know. Thanks...

Just to clear up a misconception the higher the K (kelvin rating) the closer to blue/purple it will get. However with that color there is a trade off in light output. You get less distance than you would with a 4300k or a 5500k setup

exactly right... higher k dost not mean it will help you see better during darkness. Since the light beam is too bright, you can't really see anything. It actually shooting pretty far just the brightness does not help. In this case, if you have yellow color fog light in duty, it will help alot, two different world. For show, higher k really provide you better looking. So, it really depend on what is your request.

Well, I am looking for the best performance but would definitely like a different look over just super white. I'm presuming by the previous post that I should choose one of the lower K bulbs. (4300K, 6000K) However, the 8000k pic of the beemer looks great. Are you really loosing that much performance between 4300K and 8000K? Thanks.

5300k should look great because 4300k is kind of like ur stock halogen in color but 5300k is basically that bright white which has a nice color with a good distance. Best bang for the buck i'd say

I will install a 4300k kit on a 02 Impreza WRX soon this week. I will compare the light with 8000k on another WRX. Hope these will help. Under normal condition, for road use i mean, you won't feel 8000k kit is that bad. You may actually feel it looks better than 4300k. I will post the pic up as soon as possible. Thanks...

Three holes are low beam power, high beam power and ground. In here you will need a tool. Looks like screw driver, has light blub inside the handle, and wire stick up from behind. You should be able to find this in AutoZone, Pepboy... Turn on your low beam headlight, Connect the wire as ground, stick in the screwe driver and see if the light bulb (the one inside the handle) goes on or not. If so, that's your low beam power. Or you can use Digital Multimeter which i personally perfer. Connect the red wire from module with low beam power and black wire with ground. For High beam will only be connect if you purchase Hi-Lo HID kit. Any more question please let me know. Thanks...
