gotta make some trim for the bottom and glue down the carpet over the foam i laid a long time ago. some kicker GR8 grills painted flat black are goin on when i get em done up in some high tech radar deflecting paint.

zomg. obviously he isnt building the 'worlds BEST stereo system'. If he's doing anything like i think he is...he's building a nice, decent somewhat lightweight stereo that has more kick that the factory speaker locations allow. I was gonna do something quit similar to my s14, but then I realized that I need to carry tires in my trunk 2-3times a month...so building a stereo would be more hassle than pleasure.

Don't get defensive...it's all good. Some people have different priorities. Some like to pay for their houses (and customize to their liking), cars, bills...while others like to live with their legal guardians (where financial ventures are always backed up) or in an apartment alone or with others (to save money), eating ramen (or fast food to become unhealthy and clueless) or themselves while struggling to create their own impression in their relevant possibility. Or even live on their own while paying for their big boy bills and still customize their toys.

Either way...yeah, everyone is different. :wiggle:

And of course you're car is going to look "clean" (i hate when people say that, its lame). You don't drive it on the track, its stock OEM, and you probably wash it 4 times a week.

hey makoto, nice shiet. really, i think its nice......a little more base, what speaker size is that like 8's? that box is probably perfect for it. two 8's in a small box like that, will be enough base to feel the beat, but not be too loud or deep that people can hear ur gangster music from miles away(or whatever u listen too) i kinda want to do something like that, but probably with 6.5's, but seeing ur setup, it looks even better, more functional, doesnt take up too much space, adds base and sound quality...what more could you ask for? keep going it with man, dont worry bout shit people say. atleast ur not gutting your car to look cool for that 'drift status' and your not just throwing the shit back there, your keeping the install looking good. keep up that shit.

it takes time to acutally dump a v8 into the 240...you need a lot things to think about...plan..fabricate. If you take your time and do it right the first time then you wont run into more problems down the road...
