Is it just me or do people not realize that SR's and RB's don't pass emissions, whether it be the sniffer or the visual?

Not all states have a visual inspection. Also they all don't have as strict emmisions laws. I remember smog tech saying he tested a SR once to just see if the emmisions were at passing level and they were.

SR will pass the sniffer as long as it is in proper running condition, with stock fuel pump, etc.

Even with slight mods, it will pass the sniffer.

Been done many times pretty much all over the country. Cali, AZ, etc.

even after my Sr swap is done, I will continue to keep my car registered in Washington state at my parents address. Island County= No Emissons

Arturoooooooo is right. I saw with my own eyes, that an SR without the pulse air connected will pass the sniffer. :)

Ok, letme rephrase my statement:
It may pass the sniffer , but the not visual and vise versa. :P

There, I fixed it for you.

When properly installed, mostly stock, it will pass sniffer, but not visual.

Dunno 'bout the RB20 tho.
