Picked up a new/used 240 today. New to Zilvia.

Here's the new 240.

'93 S13 Kouki FB Automagic w/ 96,000 miles. Picked it up from some dude that buys and sells cars for a living. This one had impact to front driver side corner. Damage consisted of reshaping bumper support, fixing bumper, replacing fender and fixing headlight. Nothing catastrophic. Because insurance fixed it for previous owner, it does have salvage/rebuilt title. But the thing is pretty nice. No major problems. Could use some brakes and the passenger door mirror dont work (power mirrors). I don't think it has ABS, HICAS or LSD, but then again I've yet to check. It has everything else though (power everything + pop-up sunroof).

So far I like it a lot. Gonna try to keep it mildly modded and move for the 180SX look alike conversion. Windows, Seats, Etc.

Looks like I'll be a Zilvia regular.

that means its not the pignose and not the late model which wasn't released here.. the kouki model has those cool altezza style tailights and the a better lookin bumper...

I paid $2,500

Bummer on the automatic though, I know. Hard to find a 240 in good condition around Chicago, and then to have it also be 5-speed and under $3k is like asking Michael Jackson to go back to black and leave 'em kids alone.

Word. $2,000 would've been more ideal. But, the car is indeed well worth it.

Mine used to carry a salvage title from IL (I got the car in MO)... now it is rebuild title, so it's all good... I don't plan to sell it anyway... I had to spend hours to clean the interior on mine, but again, like you said, well worth it!

and your car has really low miles... I have 148k when I got it... BUT right now she gets 31 mpg on flat land highway (IN & OH), no complains at all!

Only things car is asking for right now is brakes, catalytic converter (exhaust smells like rotten eggs) and possibly new muffler. Everything else is all gravy.
