a buddy of mine has a very nice turbo, it has a .70 compressor a/r and a .96 exh a/r i know it's a big a/r but the turbo isn't like a t78 or anything... any idea on how spool would be? i heard that bigger a/r's don't really mean laggy, just less psi to get the power... is this true?
thanks
btw i know it sounds very newb... but i didn't know how else to phrase it
A/R means nothing without knowing the housing type.

yea i fugured that much, but i mean in general, b/c i couldn't find the housing on it... say we are comparing a t3 w/ the aforementioned a/r's and another w/ a .50 comp a/r and .48 exh a/r... that better :)
In general a bigger exhaust housing increases lag but has more top end potential.

ok i found out the housing, it's a T04-E pretty massive... so would you say good spool by like 5500-6krpm? or is it more reasonable?

a T04E should spool in the 4ks

a .96 t04e is pretty big for a daily driver, you will see alot of lag
