Sunroof s14

I was wondering if anyone had delt with this problem before....to start from begining my sunroof woud work...and then it acted a little weird one side woud go in and one side woudnt....so me and my buddy took it apart...and found the problem...one of the brackets was broke ...not exatcly sure what is calld....so we took everything apart.....and never got back to puting it backup...ive been driving with no top interior for almost a year now LOL....and it sux...yes.....i was wondering if anyone had to put their sunroof on from the bottom up....any suggestions...anykind of help woud be great....tnx TurK. :ughug:

The problem is still vague because you typed your life story in there. Try again.

As far as installing the sunroof, yes, it goes in from below, how do you expect to fit the assembly through the hole in the roof?
Or, are you talking about just the glass lid? Yes, it goes in from the top, not the bottom, but again you're post is about as clear as a tar paper.

You took the sunroof out, now you're asking how to put it back in? Where's the sense in that? Installation is the reverse of removal. Ever heard that?

Again, you haven't fully explained anything, did you remove just the glass, or the entire assembly? Is the motor still attached to it? Are the drain hoses still in the car, or did you pull those out too?

Have you ever heard of an FSM?

How big was the rock you just crawled out from under?

Is your head sore form being jammed up your ass?

Like I just said above, the assembly mounts from underneath, to the sheetmetal roof. The glass lid goes in from above, unless it's still fitted to the assembly. Your definition of sunroof and 'taking it apart' could mean anything, there's literally a dozen parts to the assembly itself, not including the motor or glass. We'll continue being assholes until you either make it more clear or figure it out on your own, both of which I see you having a hard time with.

Took what all apart? See, that's my point. You took it out, you took it all apart (still not clear what you're talking about as far as 'it', you still haven't explained yourself), and yet you're asking here how to put it back together.

So again, for the third time:

what did you take out?

what did you take apart?

how do you not have the skills to reverse the procedure you've already done?

If someone told you they took a can out of the pantry and needed to know how to put it back in, wouldn't you assume they're a fucking idiot for asking?

Are you saying youve been going around for a year weith a hole in the roof, or did you put the glass back in somehow?

You should be able to put the whole assembly (glass and all) back together, then screw it back into the roof.

From what he wrote, I gather that they took everything off and never really knew how to put it back together.
A year later, he wants to figure out where it all went, cuz its been a long time since he actually saw how its put back together.
