I just recently installed my SAFC2. Im GAURENTEED that i installed it correctly because I went over it 5 times already. The Throttle % stays on 100% the whole time. Even when im not on the gas. I dont know what the hell the problem could be. My motor was originially an automatic SR with a automatic SR harness. using a Manual transmission and a Manual 62# ECU. Any Ideas on what the problem can be?

Disconnect the TPS line(or disconnect tps), and read the voltage. If it goes to zero, then check your wiring again.
haha either tps is bad or you've got the wrong tps wire. there are like 3 of them. you need the one that reads 5V iirc

5volts would be your reference wire, which would read 100%. You'd want something around 1.2volts, and sweep the tps to make sure.

ok i explained it wrong. i meant that the wire that says TPS(5v) on the ecu pinout. max of 5v but constantly changes depending on tps position but yeah thanks for clarification.

i had the same problem at one time and it was the TPS.

mine did that when I installed it, there is a setting on the SAFC that sets it to read 100% at the high voltage or low voltage, 1.2v=100% or 5v=100% something along those lines, check into that before you worry about the wiring too much.

Just a shot in the dark, but you know in the set up, you have to do the throttle open and throttle closed setting, i am sure i remember doing that dont have my book with me now though to confirm..if you did set the throttle on the SAFC, then you TPS is bad

Its 5v100% 1.2v0% or 3% i dont remember but basicaly you have to do that start up test again.

Let's say everything is Installed correctly. Were you installing the SAFCII to correct something or tune? If you had underlying problems they mave have stemmed from your TPS or your wiring. So even if the SAFCII is connected, the problem maybe the cars wiring, TPS or bad voltage. You have to works backwards from the SAFC. So it's, set SAFC then Check wiring, then TPS wiring to ECU.etc.

Is the safc set up properly. Go to etc. on the main screen, then go to car type, and make sure that it has 4 cylinders and the arrow is pointing in an upward angle. if its pointing downward it will read 100% throttle all the time.
