I want to experiment with nitrous on my 240SX cause i have been doing some small drags here and there with some civic dudes and well I figure that I dont have that much $$$ for an SR swap yet I could put nitrous into my motor. I need some sort of guide that will help me figure out which system would be ok to use on the Ka24e.

i think what you really need to do is to go research basics of nitrous oxide
nitrous is simply another method of cramming air in the motor
you need to worry about adding fuel as well
hence wet and dry systems

You said nitro in your title so I suggest you first go learn the differences between Nitro Methane and Nitrous Oxide injection. Else someone will flame you badly.
If you search on other websites there is alot of info to be found reguarding nitrous. NX's website has alot of good info and help on there. Just remember it's addictive you find yourself wanting to spray just a little bit more because you almost broke into that next bracket and your only a bigger nozzle away. Also although dry kits can be run just fine your a newb to nitrous and stop fuel pumps aren't really up to a decent sized shot on KAs so I'd suggest a wet kit for safety's sake and a fuel pump upgrade as well. If it's tuned right you can run bottles and bottles through that KA at pretty big shot levels.

i was lik =O nitro!!!?!?!?!
and then i read...and it was :ghey:
nitrous is easy as pie if ur doing it small, like a 35 dry shot at the tb. thats what im planing todo wen i build my ka for na, to keep up with u dirty turbo bastards with boost!!
/shakes fist!!!!
but at the same time, nitrous can get dumb ass complicated with staged systems, and triggering timing, etc
but dood, just go n pick up a universal NX kit for lik 400 bucks, hook it up, and just play :)
...just remember not to hold the button for a million yrs....and remember to check ur spark plugs

Keep and eye out on the floor board. Make sure all you floor board bolts are tightend to spec after you installed the nitrous. Other then that, 370's, safc and add 35-50 shot would not hurt.

haha yea i was suprised when i saw Nitro.. i got excited...
nitrous is a little different from nitro :-p
definetly listen to what 420sx said.
Nitrous + Air-fuel computer + Bigger injectors + fuel pump shud give you a cheap drag setup.
y r u racing in straight lines w/ civics in the first place when u got a car that can turn? ;)

I have alot of experience putting nitrous on imports, and building very safe and reliable kits for less money than youre standard "nos" kits.
Give me a call, you're in LA so i can tell you everywhere to go to put together a great kit!!
In short... it has to be wet with an extra small fuel cell!

NOS can also be used to initiate the drift,
I know it hasnt been mentioned before, but if you can't afford to swap an SR are you still prepared to replace your KA just in case it blows up? If that's not a problem, spray away

you can run a direct port injection systems... but that's 75 shots there (min), you will need to do some plumbing on the intake mani, as well as play around with your FUELs, colder plugs + retard timing...
75 shot wet = pretty fun...

bending brake line to make it work... is not hard, bending it to make it beautiful is an art. fuel plugs and timing are always a factor, i suggest at least 91 octane out of the injectors, and 100 octane out of the nitrous jet(S).

read the over rev mag.universal kit 60 shot yielded 287TQ 211HP. but they did a compression test and leakdown. "nitrous is like an amplifier, strong motor yield strong results, bad motor will yield more problems."
