need a few suggestions, just got back into drifting my old tamiya ta02 touring car (10 years old for those that dont know) and i only have crap old sport 1500ish battery packs and a dying novak speed control. What are some good inexpensive battery packs to rock and a decently priced speed control I can get? Im lookin at orderin stuff off ebay since its usually cheaper and the local hobby stores dont usually carry every brand...

I've been out of the r/c car game for quite awhile, but I would get yourself some matched 1700's and solder some together yourself. And as for a battery charger, get a peak charger. I recommend the barely used orion peak charger that I'm willing to sell to you for $50 obo. haha. It's in great condition and I just want to get rid of it. And if you hurry I'll throw in a deans light bulb discharger!

You can get a epic 3000mah battery pack for like $20 and a duratrax has a esc for $25 but it's only rated for stock 27 turns. That's my $0.2 IF you want any of this stuff hit me up at hobbytown fremont. Look for Mel.
