I think there is kind of a mis-conception with water getting into the intake and ways to pervent it. First to answer your question: The chances of water getting into your intake cause of the RA coversion is highly unlikly. The hole is still pretty small so about the only way your going to get water in through the whole and then have the intake suck it up is if you where to drive it in a river. You should really only be concerned about water is if you get it 1/4 to fully submerged in water. That is where that little foam thing comes into play.\

Hope that makes a little sense.

You would only be more susepuble (sp??) if you had the cold air extension. Its really hard to get water that high into the engine bay.

Even with the cold air extension you are VERY unlikely to get enough water in the intake to Hydrolock the engine.
