I drove my car from north of Seattle Washington to Santa Barbara California and I listened to AK1200 almost all the way (Drum and Bass). I suggest
AK1200-Prepare for the Assult
AK1200- Fully Automatic
Both great Driving albums.
But now my CD Player has randomly stopped working. Time to fix that now. But first to fix my clutch.

I think I answered this a few years back. (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?p=256551#post256551) Yeah my music library and taste has expanded since then but it's still a valid list.

Right now, I still have an old Ayu (Hamasaki) Trance CD, that I don't seem to get tired of. I need to stop listening to it, cause it makes me drive like a nut.
Still waiting for the new Staind.

Blues, early '90s rock (greenday, nirvana, etc...), very little rap (mostly just Tech N9ne).
Stereo is VERy simple, but serves it's purpose extremely well; Pioneer DEH-P2300 CD player, 6.5" rear/4x6" front Pioneer co-ax's

I listen to many things while driving. I have over twelve thousand songs so there's a lot to choose from. Lately, its been ATB, Oakenfold, Bad Boy Bill, Initial D, Earth, Wind, & Fire, The Bee Gees, Triumph, Foreigner, AC/DC, Van Halen (the best), Billy Joel (g/f loves Billy Joel), and true hip hop from the old school, (Wu Tang, Mobb Deep (pre 1997), Biggie, some older Bady Boy stuff, and most importantly, Old School Nas and shit that reps. the QB.

Motley Crue just makes me laugh when i hear them, and Bon Jovi is some of the shittiest music out there. can't think of anything much lamer than bon jovi.
Hieroglyphics all day!
now that's good stuff. were you able to catch their tour? it came by the fillmore in SF a few weeks back, and they are actually playing again in santa cruz on 9/3. other than hiero, i like dilated peoples, atmosphere, del (on his own), the pharcyde, visionaries, J5, and any sick instrumentals. gotta have the classic rock in there too, like tom petty, zeppellin, the doors, cream, CCR, guns n roses, and hendrix

Wu Tang, Mobb Deep and Nas are NOT "old school hip hop," and I ain't that old... Step another 5-10 years back from there, put in some Big Daddy Kane "daddy's home," Eric B & Rakim's "Paid in Full," Audio 2's "What More Can I Say?" Take your pic of any of the older BPD/KRS-ONE material, Juice Crew, Chubb Rock, Jungle Brothers, De La, A Tribe Called Quest, Black Sheep and THEN tell me you're listening to "old school hip hop." Nothing against Wu Tang and Nas (I DO have something against Mobb Deep having recorded the EXACT same bullshit over and over again, it was only good the first 2 albums) because I own quite a bit of both of their material, but that is not my bag for when I am in the car... Personally, most recently, I find myself riding to Linkin Park, but I can be found listening to Justus League shit (Little Brother, Foreign Exchange, L.E.G.A.C.Y., Rapper Big Pooh, etc...) or OLD jazz (I havce grown to seriously dislike newer jazz), all dependent upon time of day and my mood.

Trance mixes and some Heavy bass beats. Some screwed and chopped bootleg songs and pretty much anything that makes the subs vibe and piss off the neighbors :fawkd:

^^^ Yeah, that's what I do with the DD. Piss off the neighbors. Phlip, I have some old Roots and some Talib Kwali, even some Tribe, yet that kinda stuff is too chill for me to drive to when in the S13. Maybe in my little cav, but not the track slut. The stuff that I have from Mobb dates back to 1992 (Hell on Earth) which is fairly old (unless you want Grandmaster Flash). Nas isnt as old as far as date, but I have some obscure stuff from his crew as well (The Firm). All in all, with over 500 Rap and or hip hop discs, I think I know whats up. Tribe and that style is kinda boring to myself. Unless the honeys want it, then its ok.

(still unimpressed) The Firm? That was 1997, I bought that on the way to my high school graduation practice... 500 rap/hip hop CDs? Novice, I stopped counting genres a long time ago, I will check my drive on the computer right now...
... 15,841 files, 1,386 folders, 56.1GB, and I have all kinds of music.
