so basically i cant decide on an exhaust i want. i was going to go custom 3in piping with a resonater and magna flow exhaust ( so it looks stock) which would cost me 380. my other option was the SS auto exhaust which is the canister type and it is daym cheap 230 shipped. now theres also an exhaust from XSengineering..210 shipped which includes down pipe,cat,and catback exhaust.
now the XS exhaust looks like it has a resonater on it and the SS does not. so what im thinking is buying the XS since i plan on going turbo later on (so im just gonna keep the parts) and it has a resonater from the cat back.
now what i was really thinking was..i like the canister look, but then again i dont want to draw any attention to the cops. so i was thinking of getting the XS package and using there pipe and just have a Magna flow exhaust bolt on to there piping. just so i have the option of swapping from a Canister look to stock look and have the same type of performance.
so basically 380 is my budget, so if i could spend less and get a whole catback with a canister and also have a magnflow made to bolt on to the pipe. looks like ill be satisfied since i could change them when ever i want.
any thoughts on this idea?
also im not to clear on how an HKS hiper 85mm SR20 exhaust can bolt on to an NA KA cat without an exhaust leak? ive heard and read that they connect like legos..but no feedback on if there would be an exhaust leak...and yes i tried searching. any words from the wise?
