My personal experience with Aspec:

I've dealt with Aspecproduct Salesman Logan, and the company itself.
Story time..
I first met Logan when I crashed my S13 on a mountain run and posted for parts to replace my front left suspension. All I needed were Tension rods, a crossmember (yikes), and a control arm.

He picked out some stock tension rods from his personal collection and sold me them for $20. Not bad.

He then offered me a deal on some Tension rods, with Tie rods, as a discounted package. I didn't have the money at the time and told him I'd be interested in a set of Tie rods/ends later on.


So I bought some S13 Kazama Tie rod ends and S14 Tein Inner Tie rods from him a few weeks ago. AND he delivered them over to me since we both live in the same area. That was good service considering he was OFF from work and probably had better things to do anyways.

The tie rod ends and inner tie rods were not compatible with each other.
I immediately called logan up and he explained after some thought that they did not work because TEIN designed their tie rods to work only with TEIN tie rod ends. So I was out of luck because of this issue.

He then spent 2 days researching and calling TEIN and other places up to check for what I can do for my S13.
After 2 days of researching, he called me up, came over to my house AGAIN, and EXCHANGED my S13 Tie Rod Ends from Kazama for some S14 kazama ends without any difficulties.
(It turns out that the S14/S14 Tein/KAZAMA combo works for S13's, but not Kazama S13 mated to Tein S14/13. it was confusing but he found out haha)

Also, when I called ASpec at their location in the first place to get a hold of logan, their staff answered pretty briefly and transferred me over to his extension without any problems. When I couldn't get a hold of him when his line was busy, they transferred me over to a different salesman to answer a question. (That's pretty good, nothing like a huge credit card company, but pretty damn good for a business like them)


So yeah, I had a pretty good experience with them for this transaction.
And I can definitely vouch for Logan, since he went out of his way to finish the transaction.

I just recently moved to SOCal, and Logan and Aspec products definitely sell good products and Logan definitely knows his 240 shiet. Won't BS you in any way or try to push you to get this or that, or anything you don't need, unless you wanna go and buy it.

Always nice to see customer service at this level. It's ludicrous. It would be the equivalent of going to get a massage and receiving free happy endings.

I bought a buncha stuff from Logan (Grenades, lugs, tc rods, inner/outer tie rods, brake pads) probably a bunch more to come, and always bug him on AIM for advice/pricing/recommendations. All good stuff, he's very patient and very helpful.

I met Logan after going to Aspec with a friend and he seem like a pretty good guy. Then I bought a set of wheels from him and he was really cool about the payment plan and helping me out as far as the price goes. Bought a F and R tanabe sway bars from him and he hand delivered them to my house. (probably because he missed him, LOL) then bought a nardi wheel, FET Q/R, WB hub. Now the steering wheel set I had a problem putting it together (cuz' i'm an idiot) but Logan was nice enough to put together a set so that he could find out what the problem was, of course that same day I had already figured it out. I had to beat in the rear quarter panel lips and on the frotn fenders there are little clips for the inner fenders ( which i dont have ) and those rub. If you plan on running this setup you must stretch the tire unless you wanna roll fenderzZzZ. Im going to lower it a LOT more so ill repost pictures.

ordered wheels with Logan way back in March. i was ready to drop the order but he wouldn't let me until i did more research on what offset to run because of my setup. after i did my part, the order was finally placed. so then the long wait began...

during then, my friends ordered other parts from Logan. on all occassions, his prices bested everyone else's. 3 months pass by and i couldn't take the wait anymore. I ordered another set of wheels to hold up and ease my anxiety. :naughty: everything went smoothly.

finally, the wheels i originally ordered came in. everything was great, as usual.

I never felt rushed with conversations with him. He looked out for my best interest. If there was a part that was out of stock or for whatever reason he didn't have it, he would refer me to another vendor.

Beyond that, it's not only Logan that was great, Francis was also very friendly and helpful. Had a very similar vibe and attitude as Logan.

All in all, the ASpec staff is the paradigm of what many businesses should be today, excellent business practices. I HIGHLY recommend them. You guys rock. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Ok. So I've been buying parts for my s13 since 2001, and Logan at Aspec has consistently been THE absolute best vendor I've ever dealt with. Besides his no-bull attitude, his no-pressure sales, and his vast knowledge in certain fields, the one thing that has been the highlight to this dude's plethora of positive attributes is his honesty. This guy SUCKS at lying, so he just doesn't do it. Logan will tell you that he doesn't know something when he doesn't (rare), refer you to businesses that can/will help you at the risk of losing customers (more rare), and even tell you to sit tight when your dumb ass has a wad of cash in hand for a stupid purchase that he knows you'll regret (f'ing-impossible). I still can't figure out why he's so dedicated to this level of service, but I'm glad he is, and I sure don't take it for granted. Everyone here either has dealt, or will deal, with shady vendors, and although it may seem like a trivial activity, it's refreshing to know that you can buy parts with absolutely ZERO worries at all.

My only regret is that Aspec doesn't carry even MORE items, and that Logan still prefers to speak like he's from Compton. Although, I'm slightly comforted that he sometimes accepts tip$ from me as well. Haha.

I've purchased everything from nuts and bolts to full sets of wheels from Logan, and I can't say enough good things about the service. I paid money for some car parts, but I got more than just car parts in return, I also got a sense of humility and a great deal of inspiration to up my game in all aspects of life. Ok maybe that last one is a bit much, but you get what I'm saying. I believe any sane person who's ever met Logan would tell you the same.
