To whoever shot me the information on cleaning the plastic housings with mothers metal polish....much thanks...took all the yellowing away....almost like new.....
I am an old guy who was just trying to keep his wifes drive good looking....no mods to the exhaust...no mods to the air flow...just a damn nice looking pearl white 95 240...
Thanks for the info....great site....

if you mean meguire's plastic polish that was probably me.....for future reference, and for everybody else, if you use the stuff in conjuntion with a high speed electric buffer it works even better

What I did to clear up my yellow headlights was a bit different and slightly an un-orthodoxed approach. I took 1500grit wet/dry sandpaper and wet-sanded the outsides of my lenses. I then took 3M polishing glaze and polished them up pretty nicely. I wanted to shoot some clear-coat over them, but I couldn't get my headlights out, so I held off on that. The sanding and polishing did an awesome job, though. My headlights were yellow-enough that plastic polish didn't work on them.

Can anyone post a picture of their results? I'd love to see how it looks. Thanks

yep....I actually used Mother's Aluminum/Metal polish...and it worked pretty damn good....I do wonder why the turn lights next to the headlight housings never change colors at all....
must be a different Japanese manufacturer.... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
