I found a 240 on AutoTrader with 151k miles, a new automatic clutch was installed 15 months ago, and a item description that says "bottom of engine needs fixing"...whatever that meants. It only costs $500, which would basically mean I would be paying for the body. If I were to buy an SR front clip that would come with a new clutch right? Well would that come with a clutch pedal and things so I can change it to a five speed right off the get go? What else would I need to buy... cuz I definately ain't rollin an automatic. So I need some advice and I need it fast, I will buy the car tonight otherwise cuz I don't need some other Silvia Junkie going out and snatching this oppourtunity from me. Tell me what I'll need to do to get this into a fine runnin',giant-killin' machine.

Get it man, defenently. Get the new SCC and look at what that one was, cuz it sounds about the same, so call the dood tell him u will pay a bit more for it, or tell him to hold it, and get that car, AT to MT i hear isent to hard, if your swaping the engines anyway, and if the body is in good shape, get it

If you really want to have a nice car, MAKE SURE you check for things like RUST, and wear and tear on the suspension. Look for signs of damage from wrecks. That stuff is REAL expensive and often bars people from accomplishing their goals.
If I were you I would hold out for the 5 speed. Swapping that out is quite a bit of a pain. If you don't get a front clip there is all kinds of extra stuff you have to buy. Pretty much the same stuff to do the Auto to 5-speed swap (believe there is an article in the faq??)
Blown motor 240's are all over the place. Hold out for the RIGHT one. Trust me. you'll find it.
