i don't mind if people don't bid much i just dont want to pay much on the ebay fees. they charge an insertion fee and at the end they charge me another fee on how much the item ends. so i thought id save more if the item ends less and i just make up the difference in shipping/handling and packing.
and paypal takes money too.

If I were to have a friend pick them up, would I have to pay that fee? :)

Since there is a $20 shipping fee for something so small...even with the fee which would amount to around $5 max plus another $5-7 for shipping a small item, will the box used for shipping be wooden and the packing material be comprised of shredded dollar bills? Thanks...

I guess you guys don't understand. Instead of him paying the high ending price fees, he can just get away w/ a lower ending price that way he saves money. If you want to only spend $40 on a gauge got cost $20, bid $20! Whether you with at $35 and pay $5 shipping or $20 price and $20 shipping you still get the gauge for what you want to pay. Besides, sometimes this cuts down on any taxes that you would have to face but not in this situation.

Actually, sarcasm was intended by my post. I am aware of the "in the shipping business". All you have to do is take a look at every other tool on EBAY. How about a set of coilover with a $1 start and $250 shipping?

it depends..... if you pay through paypal i would want you to pay the fees and if we do it out side ebay i wont charge you the shipping fee.
the only reason why i put the shipping so high is because i dont expect the bidding price to be high. please read khoadoggs post, he explained it really well.(damn college boy)
