View Full Version : COMING VERY SOON(Cheaper Bride Zeta 3)

Thats right, Bride is comiing up with cheaper Bride Zeta's. Normally, MSRP is 800, but the new ones coming out the MSRP is $650. So it should sell around $550 or less.
THeres going to be only 1 color, which is Black. THe shell, will also be black unlike the original ones that are silver. No pictures yet, well just imagine a regular zeta 3 with black shell, and costs $200 less :naughty: :naughtyd:
Good..the assholes at Bride finally smelled the competition

why much of the the new line of brides aren't up to par with the older models confuses me.
probably because there is more competition and bride wants to keep the same profit margin so they make them cheaper and lower the prices, rather than take a hit on the profit.

Still too much money for my blood. I havent sat in a Bride bucket seat yet but I was very unimpressed with the Brix. With that said if I found a good deal on a set of seats, I would buy them. I dont see myself spending 1,000 dollars on seats tho.

Sux that its not FIA aproved... I wonder if even the regular Bride Zeta FIA here yet though, I know they are in Japan now.
But yea, thats a sweet deal for a bride zeta and I was planing on buying one in the future. I have sat in a couple and that seat fits me perfectly. I think I should invest in one of these bad boys :)

I could not find anything on the NASA website mandating FIA approved seats. That would be my biggest concern, not being able to run with NASA. I have not gone to an SCCA event in a while and I don't really plan to any time soon. I have sat in a Bride before and I have not sat in anything better, except maybe a top of the line Sparco that cost twice what even the Bride does.

i don't know... its' still alot...
i would rather buy a suede bride that they call it fake..
i sat in it and its good enough for me.
or buy starting line of sparco or momo.. that costs a lot cheaper and do the same job.
sideview_180sx
06-25-2005, 12:10 AM
for that price you could pucke up a sparco rev that fits well and is already FIA approved

Doesnt have the buckskin on the shoulder area.
Shame they don't make it in an L version, as if I had the money either way.

Do the same job...if thats the case, take a cardboard box, cut a few sides out of it and use tape to support the edges. When your done with that task, go out back and spray paint it black and with whiteout write "BRIDE". There you have it, pure JDM bucket seat that costs almost nothing that "does the same job". I don't know about you, but i've sat in many lower line seats, Sparco Sprinter, Corbeau Forza, and even the nicer Charge Speed seats. None of them match the par of the Zeta III. It is far superior. In the bucket seat industry, you really get what you pay for, and i'm not just talking about holding power, you also have to be comfortable.

The new stuff is not being made in Japan
its being made in the LA area by non english speaking imagrints
you can get the zeta 2 shell for next to nothing
the fabric is where the $$$ is at
i am sure they only pay those guys 25~75 a seat to get them covered
then what 25 bucks for the shell?
IMHO you are just paying for a name nowadays

You make it sound like its a little sweatshop with a bunch of IMMIGRANTS working it (i'm not racist, just correcting his spelling). They're probably a bunch of awesome japanese guys anyways. Its actually a very sophisticated factory/wherehouse/distributor in Torrance, for Bride, almost like a Bride USA. tees-usa.com
And about all the knock offs being the same quality...Autobacs has 3 of the "Netami" seats on display, which are supposed to be Zeta III knockoffs. Since the are cheaper i decided to sit in it. It sucked!!! i could almost twist the whole thing around with my hands. It wouldn't do you any good when driving because when you'd lean from a turn the whole thing would flex...

Bride USA is still Tee's/ LOT USA and run by Bun whom is also the owner of Air Walker.
The Bride Seats are not being produced in the US at all... they are Imported only! The Bride Knock-offs are Leather or Suede Versions. Bride only uses Suede or Leather on the bolster supports and the Pros Seat. Full Suede seat would make you sweat like crazy anyway.

Can anyone describe the function of the split seat cushion on the bottom?
Also, being non-FIA approved, what does actually say about this seat? It hasn't gone through testing, or its made of cheaper material?

They most have skimped out on a lot of the quality they put into the other seats, otherwise there wouldnt be a reason for the new lower price. The black will fade to that purple-ish color, the red to orange... and im sure after a while the shell will start flexing or cracking... 500-600 is still a lot of money to spend on a seat that is about the same quality as some of the lesser recognized brands.

i question those who spend 900 for 1 seat..... maybe they can afford to spend that much for something worth half its bargain.. anyhow ill just look for a deal on 2 gtr seats .. or maybe the chargespeed or something similar. until they lower the price far beyond 700 bride can kiss my black @$$

I am an authorized dealer so I can't advertise a huge price drop more than what I already have it listed for.... however... I can do about $600 shipped (US48) for the Seat and $185 shipped (US48) on the FG Rail... $785 Total!
I'll make this part of the 3 Year Anniversary Special so it will be availabe till the end of July.

theyre not that comfortable. I think ChargeSpeed seats are more comfortable and also alot cheaper than Bride. About $350 or so shipped per seat.
