ok well i know this has been asked befrore but i want a turbo , my engine has 78000 miles on it('90 hatchback) , and is pretty much in good condition , except that when i got it , it had been running on barely any oil at all for awhile , so beside that little prob , do you think my car could handle being turbo'd , because that what i'm gonna have as a long term goal for my baby......thanks for any responses in advance

Good Luck... It's not often we see adventurous KA24E owners.
You should get your car a compression test, and a leak down test. Look over the WHOLE engine VERY close, and look for ANY oil leaks. Get these corrected. Make sure the engine is in good condition, and is running in tiptop shape. Check all your vacuum hoses, and fuel lines for cracks and wear. If everything looks good, then you can really make the judgment for yourself if you want to do it. If you need a guy that has a lot of experience turboing the SOHC engine talk to Adam Hutchinson over on FA. I think his handle is ADAMH.
Again. GOOD LUCK~! keep us informed.
