If anyone is in the bay area and interested in sr20det motors, trans, etc. I will match mckinney's price and also provide compression tests. You don't have to take the engine if you are unsatisfied with the outcome of the test or what you see.

Ziggy,
I don't care about the sr20 motor, but I want the silvia body conversion.
I need fenders, hood, lights, light brackets, and bumper. Do you know of anyone who can supply that for under $1000?

i'm thinking you're talking about the silvia s15 front conversion. Well i'm not sure how much they are priced at, but I don't know if you can get it for under 1000. I don't actually deal with body kits. Anyways..the post is out of place. Well I think you might get it for about 1200 atcheapest.

If you have the money available to buy the engine and other stuff needed to do the swap, I can get the s15 motor and tranny, etc. I have to ask if I can get full clips from a friend of mine, but you have to be serious and should have the money available. Also, I live in the Bay Area and do not want to work with shipping.
FYI, the redtop is a more economical swap because most people can't get the "linear charge" to work on the black top engines. Also, it is also a better swap in terms of how much performance you can get for the money. If you had the money to blow on a s15 swap, you could easily upgrade the turbo and many other parts in the s13 or 14 engine and have atleast 350hp.
So unless you want it for bragging rights, like people who put in the skyline motor or any other super heavyduty motor which weighs a lot but would be good for drag racing, then the s13/14 motor is the best solution, because unlike other motors like the skyline, for example, you still retain great fr/rr weight distribution and balance.

sup thanx i was really looking hard for a clip, but then i went wit a s13 sr and my friend bout a s15 fiberglass wanna be which i dont recommend... i was waiting for your email but it took too long. i was really serious beacuse my friend was willing to spend money for a s15 front and i wanted a sr for power so looking in for a s15 clip was a good idea...
and yes sr gb doesnt go no where i just got one myself so i dont want to host the gb no more, but mckinney will still extend if u ask i think
