Up for sale again is my 1992 Nissan 240SX Base Model (5 speed). The body has 137,XXX miles on it. The motor is your typical SR20DET with about 40-60K on it and has only about 2500 miles on it since being swapped into this car(in a two year span). The paint is one month old and is not a cheapy job(it was kinda cloudy when i took the pics, so the paint isn't as bright as it actually is). I am only selling to pay off some debt so I can get into a bigger house, so I’m not in too much of a rush to get rid of it. Here’s a rundown of what’s in it:
Drivetrain:
-Redtop SR20DET with rebuilt head(new valves, valve seals, and gaskets).
-Greddy rocker arm guards
-New factory Nissan fuel rail
Performance:
-Exedy stage 2 clutch(3 puck)
-Apex-i Super AFC II
-Custom front mount intercooler
-3" Blitz Nurspec exhaust
-3" Megan cat replacement pipe
-3" Greddy downpipe
-Moroso breather tank
-Off brand manual boost controller
-Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
-RB25 MAF sensor
-Electric fans
-Mallory fuel pressure regulator
-Cross drilled and slotted rotors
-Weld diff
-300zx fuel filter
Suspension:
-Tein Super Streets
Wheels and tires:
-17" Konig Appeals Painted gold
-235/45R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE030s
Body:
-Silvia K's front end conversion w/triple projector beams
-Custom front lip
Misc:
-NHRA cert battery box(relocated to trunk)
-Autometer boost gauge
-Hood pins
-Painted calipers
-Brand new windshield
-Shaved antenna
-and obviously, Brand New Paint
I ran a best of 14.3 @103mph at Rock Falls Raceway. That may seem kinda slow for an SR20, but that was untuned, 99% full interior, and on street tires at 10 pounds of boost with some boost leak at the hose clamps(didn’t know it was leaking until I got home and checked it). So I think it has some potential yet.
If anyone is wondering about rust, this car has absolutely none. I have pictures(upon request) of when I was doing the bodywork and it will show no rust. All I fixed on it were dings and dents and filled the holes on the decklid and antenna.
The nitrous kit in the car will not be included with the sale. I just put it in there cause I had it laying around. But it’s not hooked up and will be taken out shortly. Also, the engine bay is kinda dirty in the pics. I just haven’t had time to clean it yet(from the bodywork), but it will be cleaned before the sale.
I’m looking for $8.5K OBO(money talks). Or, since a lot of people aren’t willing to sink 8+ grand into a car this old, I’ll take $6K + a daily driver(has to be worth at least $2.5K). But I have to get $6K cash. Again, I’m not in too much of rush to get rid of it. Any questions e-mail or pm me. [email protected]
