Does anyone tow their 240sx on a trailer? If so, how do you tie-down the rear of the car? My car only has one tow hook in the rear.

If the trailer doesnt have straps for the wheels, strap the front to the TC rod or lower control arm. The back strap to the lower control arm.

be careful about how tight you make the tie downs if you use a control arm. i wouldn't advize using any of the control arms though especially the factory ones. id look for a hole in the subframe or frame rail somewhere and use a hook.

What about the rear subframe?

ur car has these holes on the bottom, theyre used for chassis straightening and for tieing down like say on a trailer... if u have a hook type tie down then ur good to go, if you dont feel right doing it that way then the subframe is a good way... never really want to put any stress on ur suspension parts because it can bend.... so do all that and pull ur e brake and put that shit in gear...... preferabbly i prefer ratchet tie downs, or chains usin a come along type ratcheting clamp that pulls the chains together to get rid of slack......
i used rear control arms many times. it's fine

just put mild tension on the suspension arms when you tow it, not going for the death grip to hold the car down. be reasonable...

If you have any damaged suspension parts lets say a broken control arm. You have to get it up on whatever you are towing carefully using a jack would work. Otherwise you will have a bent tie rod, broken t/c rod bolts, bend a strut so watch out.

chock the wheels, leave it in gear w/parking brake on, and just tighten up the straps til tight...you'll be fine
