f1 racing 6puck holds 383hp

Hey guys i just installed the 6 puck F1 Racing clutch i got off ebay for sr20det. It cost $195 and included Everything needed. Here are som pics, i took... i was in such a hurry i didnt even take a picture of the clutch itself lol.. but i got the job done in 6 hours.

Look to the bottom for my reveiw.

clutch on ebay

Well i broke in the clutch with about 400miles in 2 days and noticed this:

-The pedal is not heavy at all, it feels exactly like a spec.\
-Its a sprung clutch
-There is very little room to ease the clutch in, it grabs very hard (YES!! :) )
-Very street friendly, its organic and is very comparable to spec stage 3

-I have a weird noise thats associated with most 6 puck clutches coming from my drivetrain when i decellerate in 4th. Not sure what it is but i did a search and many people have this problem with 6pucks.

Now we'll see how long it lasts, and if you're wondering i have stock t25 on 13psi redtop SR

this was a great deal, get them while they're cheap! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33564&item=7980604691

i am very happy with this clutch... i'll admit its not for everyone... pretty hardcore, holds 400hp and big bang for the buck.

maybe your drive shaft carrier bearing...i replaced my clutch and i get that sound/vibration only in decel above 2k rpm...i'm thinking its that but i haven't tried to replace it yet

the bearing is the thing in the middle. Did you make the end of the driveshaft where it bolts to the diff? If its not in the same spot, I believe it can cause vibrations/noise.

looks like i am ont the only one with noise issue ever since i put exedy clutchin. have been getting same noise in 4th at low rpm.

anyway i am glad you are satisfied with that clutch because i just bought same Gripforce F1 clutch kit but Stage 1 and was little skeptical about its quality but now feel much better

Sorry to bump an old thread, but after a month or so the cheapss fuckshit TOB this company gives you craps out... DO NOT USE THE TOB, other than that the clutch is straight....

im running a spec stage 3 now though and i shipped this back cuz i wanted money back.

Yeah, always buy OEM for the TO bearing or at least go with a reputable company.

haha o man i was messed up the other day when i replied ... didnt even realize that i have a clutch from same company(gpripforce) . its the standard Excedy and my bearing has been making noise past few months. mostly durring shifts if i give it too much gas...

this is kinda wierd tho it said it was a KOYO bearing and i was under hte impression they made decent products

I was under the impression that everyone uses the Koyo bearings, even in ACT and Exedy clutch. So it would mean that the F1 clutch is a good replacement and that you just happen to have a defective bearing.
