For sale is a Pearl white, Base model, 1996 240sx. I am not really in need to sell this right now. I am getting a 350z when the summer is over. So by Aug if this car is still not sold I will start putting this back to stock and part out the parts. And at stock I will let it go for 3000. Yes 3000 for a s14, project car anyone? So yea... I have friends all waiting in line for me to part this out. I am very picky towards part selection and only uses the best and proven parts. Buy this car in whole and save some money and save me some trouble.
This car is a VERY strong foundation for some kind of engine swap or rebuilt engine.
Now start with the modification.
Engine:
All stock except
HKS 3" hiper exhaust
Drivetrain:
Act 6 puck racing clutch just done in April with new rebuilt flywheel. Redline MT 90 tranny fluid
SE vlsd with new fluid 5000 miles ago.
Suspension:
Silkroad Rm 8 coilovers
Silkroad RUCA
Silkroad Rear Toe adjuster
Cusco front tension rods
Front Cusco Carbon fiber Strut bar
Rear Cusco OS strut bar
ST front and rear sway bars
Most of the suspension parts are half a year old. with less than 10k on them.
Exterior:
Front Jdm aero grille.
OEM, rare, Zenki Aero sideskirts
Nismo rear bumper
Vent carbon fiber hood (unknow brand purchased from a local groupbuy)
German Euro glass zenki headlights (very rare)
Philips HID conversion with philips 5k bulbs
JDM 16inch Dt05-r gunmetal rims with almost new Kumo 711 tires at the back and decent tread Falken azenis sport in the front.
Brakes:
26mm Alum 300zx front brake conversion with HeavyThrottle drilled/slotted rotors and SS lines
Project Mu NS 300zx front pads (Just installed in last month)
Project MU D1 Drift rear pads (installed same time as front pads)
Interior:
Black Driftknob
Recaro Speed driver's seat
Clifford Matrix RS 2.5, 2 way pager alarm with remote start. (Yes Clutch is bypassed so you can start without pressing in the clutch.)
Reverse sensor detector with LCD monitor
Panasonic CD changer and reciever
The car is 195k miles with the original stock engine, runs strong without any problems. Tranny shifts smooth except grinds a little when going in reverse no big deal. (Common problem with 240sx) Car is well maintained, I change oil ever 2500 miles and the previous owner always did 3000 miles, always started up on the first try. Clean title. Straight frame. No major accidents. Exterior is in ok condition, front and rear bumpers can use some work, generally speaking the paint is in pretty good condition with minium or no fade.
Asking $8500 OBO. The amount I spend in modification alone is over 10,000.(If you want a price break down I can provide that too) I can take money off for parts taken off the car. We can work that in details. I am not in hurry in selling the car, so no lowballing. I can arrange for it to be delivered for outstate buyers. Registration is good until Jan. I will have the car smogged before title transfer.
I am in San Diego right now and I am going back norcal sometime next week. I am pretty sure I can get some local Norcal or Socal friends to vouch for this car. :angel:
