I'm excited.
I'm not sure how the whole commander/squad leader heirarchy will play out for multiplayer fun, but I'm interested. It would definitely bring the realism level up a few notches.

pretty sweet game! played a lil before we went out tonight.. got work tomarrow morning so i wont play til later..

controls are different a lil bit.. but its cool. Being on foot feels way better now, really feels like a FPS..

Yea what's even more fun is all the newbies that TK all day long and ruin the whole game, or the lack of brains in your team when morons that don't know how to drive or fly specific units fly and crash them into a group of your own men....

I just remember BF1942 and the multiplayer has a bunch of 10-14 year olds running around.... :smash:

i liked vietnam.. well probably becuase i bearly got my broadband mid-late last year and i bought that instead of the older 1942.. but i am a fan of the series as well.. cs source bores me now, too repeative and tons of 12 year olds play that game.

*UPDATE* played the demo. im dissapointed a lil bit but overall is great. it wont support gforce4 series....

i have 2.4ghz 1gig 3200 ddr 9800pro 128 but when i select the multiplayer screen it just freezes :(

win2k pro. i had that and every windows there is. trust me dude, winxp pro beats win2k pro. all windows are insecure. but u can make em quite the opposite. plus u cant beat 10 bux for winxp pro cd at the university bookstore.... or warezzz :hahano:

I was getting that speed too, but then got pissed and went to fileplanet.com and was getting my regular 650+ kb/s :fawkd:

resolved my issue!
before, WinMgmt and CSRSS would for some reason start eating up all the CPU time. I renamed winmgmt to winmgmt1.exe, restarted, and no more problem!

Im loving the jets, esp im getting used to the heat seeking missles... killing newbes is easy, but it takes more skill to shake a missle on your ass. hehehe

mind you i bought this stuff mid-late last year to upgrade my system but never got around to it after getting laid off.. now i feel i should just go balls out and see what this set up can do.

this is f-in sweet. finished my water cooling rig.. ill post pics.. my pc is now super quiet compared to noisy ass air fans... and im running my p4 2.53gig cpu at 3.2 now.. hehe hardcore overclock..

took me all day to route the hosing. spent all night tearing my system down and putting it in.. time to clean up, shower, then final testing playing all night!!
