Im thinking of buying these this week just wanted some feedback from some users. How does everyone like the coils? How are they on the street? Would you buy them again? Thanks

I did search. Most threads were from late 2004, when they just came out. I wanted to see how people were feeling about them after some months have gone by. I also wanted to give a place for all the new kts-users to post if they didnt want to bump an older thread.

kts's are great race quallity co's my friend has them and I came within a hairs breadth of buying them. However we, my freind and I, live in mass. And after half of the winter the threads on his shock bodies were rusting. And he just had to get a new set shipped to him because the damn damper adjustments were frozen on full hard. He drove them around like that for a while and then finnally hit them with some pb blaster and carefully adjusted them. He was two clicks from where he wanted to be when the damn valve sheared! So I ended up going with the d2's which look like an awesome product but haven't been installed yet. To the credit of kts, they are sending my friend a new set of co's. Besides you lucky [email protected]$ in cali shouldn't have to worry about rust.

The new D2 coil-overs look great. I talked to a rep a few eeeks ago and they seemed to be the real deal. But KTS is great as well. Those are actually the 2 I am trying to decide between right now.

Yea i read that. 70 degrees might be cold for me here in so-cal, but i think the coils will hold up fine.

I'll be getting KTS coils, I live in VA, not very much snow, but we do get alot of rain. I'll coat them with anti sieze or something, clean regularly, and hope for the best.

I have the KTS coils on my s13. they are great for what they cost!! easy adjustability and they get really low. i can fit 2-3 fingers inbetween the ground and my frame rails and its at its lowest setting without preload on the springs. on all the way hard settings they are amazingly stiff. i get 1 wheel off the ground going into my driveway! the response is really lively and holds the car level with practically no body roll at almost any speed. i would highly recommend them for anyone looking for quality in that price range.

I have KTS coils as well, I definitely recommend them They can be stiff as all hell, or if you keep them on all the way soft, they actually have a very nice ride.
