I want some power. I'm ready to buy i/h/e but need recommendations. What kind of HP gains can i expect from an intake alone?

I will be doing the sr20det swap but not for some time, so i don't want to cash out on parts for my ka.

Also, Rollhard is selling a rear strut for $54 shipped link (http://www.rollhard.com/order.asp?mode=add&itemno=PIL-240SXS13R). Any opinions on this bar? Who else makes rear struts?

Finally, which anti-sway's would anyone like to recommend?

Feedback appreciated - dp

I guess that depending on how long from now you plan on doing your SR swap, you may want to hold off on the exhaust.  If you buy an exhaust for your KA, you'll want something under 2.5" (pipe size), but for the SR you'll want at least 3".  You may end up having to buy two exhausts.

From intake alone you won't get much power, but it should be noticeable. &nbsp;I have an Injen intake and noticed a difference when I installed it. &nbsp;Maybe 3 - 6hp? &nbsp;I'm going to check the weather and probably put the cold air extension back on today. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Yeah. &nbsp;What he said.
If you're serious about going SR, don't do anything to your KA. &nbsp;Just wait. &nbsp;What's the use of spending over $1100 on KA parts, of which, NONE will work with the SR. &nbsp;Besides, thats half an engine.
Intake by itself - 3-4 hp
Exhaust by itself - 5-8 hp
Header by itself - 5-8 hp
All together - 20+ hp.
You see... its one of those all or nothing things anyway. &nbsp;

I/H/E will cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000. I would highly recommend NOT doing this if you are planning a SR. Save for a turbo exhaust, BOV, FMIC, all that other good stuff. You are pretty much just wasting your money as the resale value of this stuff is next to zero. I would recommend setting up your suspension and brakes first, as boring as that sounds. Front and Rear strut and sway bars, shocks & springs, maybe rims & tires if you want em?
