i want to booost!!! now!!! but i have been looking @ a boost designs kit, but w/ all this crap ab them lately i dont want to order from them anymore.....so are there any other good companies that sell complete kits, that are comparable to the BD kit??? or should i just peice together my own kit?

piece it.. unless you want to shell out over 3 grand.. jus' keep checkin' the for sale section.. kits pop up once in a while.

if you dont have 4k to spend then piece it together. + the satisfaction that YOU built the kit just adds to the feeling of driving your car. It can be fun, just take your time and research everything.

If I was looking at turboing a KA, im sure a low budget satisfactory set up would be a bottom mount ebay ss manifold with a SR20 T25 turbo on it (buy a used one from someone) and adapted the stock SR20 intercooler (seen used as low as $50), then run SR20 exhuast parts, get the oil pan modified for an oil return line. That set up should be good for ~200hp give or take.

the turbonetics kit is wicked fast... went for a ridealong at a drift tourny this guy had like 250hp and 270ft-lbs toruqe on 9psi on a stock ka it was unbelievable....

hmm turbonetics sounds good, a freind of a freind of mine has one of their turbos on his grand national and its very BADASS and looks of good quality too...where can i get their kit from or at least look at it?

I've been researching doing a ka-t myself lately and I decided to piece one together myself for a couple reasons. Mostly because I can't afford to go out and buy it all at once and it would be easier to buy all the little parts, and secondly, I get to choose all the parts and make things just the way I want them.
