I started a CA swap a while back, but due to circumstances out of my control, I have no room or time to work on it. I want to see, at this point, if anyone has any interest in purchasing everything from me.
Included:
1990 240sx SE Fastback
ca18DET engine with ~30k miles on it, new waterpump and new con rod bearings (sat for a while)
Aftermarket separated SR20DET O2 housing (separate path for exducer bore and wastegate)
Aftermarket SR20DET downpipe
Apexi N1 Dual exhaust (pretty good condition)
Needed:
Some nuts and bolts are missing
Coolant line for Turbo
Possibly a starter (shop says it's not there, I don't believe them)
Catalytic Converter
a lot of TLC
The engine is not currently in the car. If I get a definate purchase, the shop can put it in before the car is picked up. However, the car will have to be moved on a flatbed as it is not in running condition.
Part of the problem with this project is that I moved out of the house I was living in when I started it. My dad proceded to "tidy up" the garage, which included dumping a whole bunch of crap in it and moving my stuff around. As a result, there are missing parts that will have to be replaced. I do not have a complete list at the moment. It mostly boils down to missing nuts and bolts, which are more of an aggrivation than anything else.
Anyway, the car is located in Bangor, Maine. Let me know if you are interested what you might be willing to pay. I'm open to making a deal as long as it's realistic.
