sorry to bring up this old thread, but i sort of have the same problem, so i didnt want to make another thread. my problem is that my cable is to short. anyone know of a way to fix this, do i have to buy a different 240sx cable, or have one made for me, which i dont know where to go for that. ive searched and couldnt find anything that had this.
thanks, brent

thats not going to work for me, the part where you screw the two bolts together doesnt set far back enough to clear.

then cut the cable from the other end, where it connects to the pedal.
strip some of the insulating material on that side also.
give the throttle body side some slack, enough to clear the tb bracket and crimp the pedal side of the cable after re-attaching it to the pedal.

i know i'm not explaining it very well,
here's a link when i did it for my RB, it should help explain what i'm trying to say. http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=96439&page=3 hope that helps

i think jspec used to sell the greddy plenum and s14 tb bracket thing seperately. maybe it helps with the tb

all you have to do is get a razor blade and make a 2-3" cut in the sheath(cover) going with the direction of the cable. then at both ends of the cut, slice the cover going around the cable, now remove the peice of the cover you just cut off. now you can slide those 2 14mm nuts back far enough for you to mount it on the manifold.
....done.....I have been running mine like this problem free for over 2 years....

BTW.. I did have to make a bracket to mount the cable though.
