After my track day at Thunderhill, I noticed that my rear left tire was wearinng like someone peeling the rind of an orange. It's very noticable that more material on the very inside of the tire is worn down. I hope the pictures below clears up what I'm referring to:

don't mind the dust from the street.

Does anyone know why this is happening? the other tires are perfectly fine (other than a texture of an orange peel on every tire directly after the track runs)

Car Setup:

S14 kouki, Stock SE 16'' alloys, Falken Azenis RT-215 205/55/16 all around, open diff, stock suspension.

thanks

is that negative camber wear?

Very normal. It's just melted rubber. It will eventually wear off and look like normal again. The reason it hasn't already is because it is at the edge of the tire and in normal driving you don't use the edge.

would have any explanation on why it's on the rear left tire? does it have anything to do with the direction of the track that day?

i think most of the turns were left handers, and you have an open diff...maybe tahts why?
