Need help from someone who's installed this. MMy instructions are all Japanese. So I don't know what wire goes to what but also, they don't send you a bung, and I'm sure my header isn't thick enough gauge to tap. The pick just shows the egt probe part with threads on it, going into the header. Anywho, any help would be grand. My oil press had english instructions, but I guess EGT isn't as in demand. Oh well.

ok, sorry I wasn't very clear. I have a KA24E (my car is U.S. spec). My header is obx. I'll try to get some pics up to show better. I thought about finding a nut that fits it, and welding the nut on the header. Sound reasonable?
Alo, anyone know what cylinder runs hottest on the KA? I'm assuming 2nd or 3rd..

It should have come with a bung, I've never seen one that didn't.
Welding a nut on to the runner can work, just remember the header is very thin wall.

I have to keep emissions, for auto-x when I get back to the states. (STS)

emissions is for girls that dont like to pay double for inspection. LOL
Gotta do what you have to do with an SR and all 3" piping.

a friend of mines was missing that too. Just weld it with a nut. Usually its the cilynder that is closest to the front of the car.

Or for people in STS class auto-x.

I actually find out today that it's not missing, it's just not included. GReddy expects you to drill & tap (per instructions). I guess they weren't thinking about the fact that most people that would buy an EGT gauge probably already have a tubular header.
