ever since i put my clutch in i've been hearing wierd noises... like for example first time i started it up i heard loud wining noise when cluth was disengaged. it went away after a day or so . now it still happends every now and then durring gear changes but barely noticeble. like something is rubbing.

when i put my clutch in i never adjusted the clutch play. and now i am thinking that what if that wine was cllutch disc barely touching the whlywheel and making that noise(it was reman flywheel) because it did not disengage fully.

since then i put new slave and master on there.

then other day i was looking at some diys at zeroyon.com and was looking at some clutch install on an s14 and noticed that they moved the master cylinder shaft inward
and now that i look back to get rid of pedal play i had to move the shaft way out ... not in like they show. if i remember correctly i may have moved it out more then it out more then original clutcy master cylinder

another thing is shortly after i put the clutch in pedal started to stick on way up on hot days(reason why i replaced slave and master but it didnt help any)

all this crap was just some background info for you now my main question is why does that rod need to move IN and not out ....

do you think not adjusting free play durring install and then incorectly installing master coudl be the root of these problems.

loud 'wining' noise is prolly your Throw out bearing. Ether you didn't lube it when you installed it or you don't have any pre-load on it. The preload problem is usally a chatter thou. My money is on an ungreased TOB.

Grease the spring and rocker on the pedal assm to stop the sticking.
