View Full Version : 2 Years Later.... its Back and Better Than Ever!
http://www.zilvia.net/f/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=368
Its back, after getting a bunch of goodies.
Sadly it was down longer than it should have been primarily because of a f*cked up throttle cable that somehow got messed up. Plus I have been busy with life and broke on top of that.
Lets recap the downtime.
-Rolled/Pulled Fenders
-Non HICAS Subframe & Swaped it in to Ditch HICAS
-Non Hicas Uprights & Pressed in Poly Bushings into the Uprights and LCA
-Removed Power Steering, Reinstalled it later as an Idler after the Belt fiasco
-KTS Coilovers & SubFrame Collars(Thanks again SPL!)
-5 Lug Swap
-Z32 Brakes and all around Rotors, Pads, Lines
-s14 Seats F&R
-s14 Belts
-All Adjustable Arms and Tein Tie Rods (Thanks drift freaq!)
-Removed AC & AIV
-SS Clutch Line, Removed Dampner
-Removed Tweed on Doors
Ok I know, there is more but its about as boring as the last few things.
Today I Buffed and Waxed, Engine Cleaned, Interior Cleaned!
Now that is running... I already want to get a s14 :( My s13 is badass, but I feel like I have out grown the s13 and miss my old s14.
Oh Ya! I got a 89 Camry All-Trac for my beater car. Now I need a 3S-GTE for it :)

That Camry is so awesome!! How do you like it? \
Looks like you went through hell pulling those fenders though.
Camry is alright... there is no aftermarket suspension support. Although I might be able to use something off a Celica All-Trac, noone knows shit about the car so it sucks trying to get any good info for it.
Fenders were pretty easy. I did all four, one front peeled the paint on the fender. In all it took me about an hour to do them all. There not perfect but damn good since it was my first time ever doing it.

What? he rolled them for that flushness, but he does need some new wheels so he can sell me his.
Jeff im not cheap, what do you want for them?

Huh??? So you think a 9" +35 wheel is flush on a s13? I mean it doesn't look bad but certinatly doesn't require pulling the fenders, i could see a simple roll. But, I'm confused as to why the fenders were pulled especially the front???
I fit a 18x9.5" +38 on my s13 on a 245/40 with just a roll.

Yeah I undestand where your coming from. I had 17x9.5 33+ 275/40 on mine. I did not roll the fenders and the tires stuck out .5", rims .2-0" . But wether or not his are 35+, they are going to be mine after 2years of tempting him.

He pulled the fenders because he runs 245 out back and not as much camber as most of the other guys on this site.
Wheel fitment nazis make me chuckle. Not everyone runs the same setup, man.

It's not about being a wheel fitment nazi... i said it looks fine.. Even with less camber the wheel/tire combo doesn't require a pull. Just makes it look silly is all.

Amazing, I guess you must have access to a alignment rack 24/7 to test offsets, widths, and alignments. When I got these wheels I put them on and they stuck out a good 1+". Given my alignment was extremely off since I have just swapped sub frames and installed all aftermarket multilink. I needed to roll the fenders with my 255's in the rear. I have 245's in the rear and guess what, you can always add spacers... I didnt pay 2k$ for a set of wheels to be perfectly flush. I didnt that once, and it was a waste.
Flush is something, ridiculously stretched tires and chaca-fied offsets are another. Ill let the fad influence you whichever way you want to go.

So I am the one who is being "influenced by the fad"... lol who is the one with rolled/pulled fenders again? On wheels that don't even come close to needing it... what about the fronts? I guess you must had had 295's up there huh? lol... stop bustin my chops... I asked a question, don't be so defensive about it...

Yea, wouldn't want to get banned for questioning why he did somehting to his car...
Besides, he's the one who got all uppity and defensive... not me.
