So cool!!! I can't wait until May 18 & 19. I've missed 2 auto-x's this season so far (first one, I didn't have my car; second one got rained out and cancelled). Good pics! So cool that there were a few 240's there!

LOOK AT THE BODY ROLL!! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/notify.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':notify:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/notify.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':notify:'>
(note: that looks like the corner going into the sweeper... so under full throttle it's really not THAT bad of body roll... considering the speed).
Crap i need better swaybars....
The white car is a Freshalloy member... JVCN or something like that. He's running D-Mod since he's putting in the turbo this season, and wants to stay in his anticipated class. I might switch to D-Mod from STS, since D-Mod has more freedom and is less competative (STS has like 50 entrants).
Drifting Ricer's first 2 runs were Off Course (Announcer: "78. bla bla bla with multiple off courses") which explains why his times got worse (following the track more = more distance = longer time = ending up with an 84.something). Someone's got a New Year's Resolution that just AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> (just bustin balls man. It's probably better to have someone ahead of you to try and beat than trying to constantly just outpace someone else... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> )
Micah's red S13 stripped of the front seat, A/C, and condenser, with stock suspension and a Greddy Rocket exhaust managed a 76.something at the end.
My times were 79.something, 74.something, and 72.something... placing me 4th in the "modded novice" category (with a HUGE field).
Jeff's (the white '97) best was a 65.something... i think.
There were also a couple guys that looked straight from japan with 240's.. i had met one of them earlier at the Pike (local cruise scene) and he's supposed to be a drifter (along with his other friend). They both drove S13's. They both didn't do very well (Announcer: "83.something... with 3 cones"). I guess curb humping isn't only a US thing.... (plz don't take offense... just saying we're all equal, you JDM freaks!!<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

April 28th there's an AutoX in southern CT.... www.fcscc.com (http://www.fcscc.com)
I'll most likely be there honing skills to widen the 12 second gap between the CurbHumping Ricer and myself <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
Hopefully I'll get new swaybar mounts by then and have a car that understeers less.
Anyways, mental note of what to bring next time:
1. Sun umbrella [shade]
2. Small grill, coals, burgers [food]
3. Tarp [to stick all our crap on the ground]
4. Folding table and chairs [sitting on ground sucks]
5. More tools [to tension STB's]
6. AIR COMPRESSOR [for those underinflated tires!]
7. Sunglasses that aren't broken [outdoors + sun = blind]
8. Shoe polish.... stupid numbering <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
