exedy clutch

anyone know the break in time/period for the exedy stage 1 clutch, i think it's 500 miles just wanted to double check.

300 miles is good..make sure you don't abuse it within that time.

didn't the clutch come with break-in procedure instructions?? Is it an acutal stage 1 or a OE Exedy replacement clutch.

i just had mine put it and it recommended 750 non highway miles. WAY TO LONG so im probably ganna go with 300 easy driving and then get it up there till about 500 then BEAT ON IT LIKE CRAZY. oh and from what i was told OEM and stage 1 are the same but i could be wrong with exedy. either way mine was sold to me as OEM. thanks.

exedy doesnt make a "stage one" for the KA, i believe they do for the SR though...

yea i heard its in the 500-700 range.

I didn't really break mine in. Ever since then i've put ~5000 miles on it so far and it's worked great, 0 problems, grabs strong
