Does the cruise control light turn on or blink when you activate the cruise control switch? You tamper with any of the switches or wires above the brake pedal?? You check that little rubber vacuum line that's underneath the cable actuator?? Lots of things to check....see if you can find a FSM here on Zilvia. Use the SEARCH link...
A FSM will definitely help you figure out what your problem is...

I'll check that stuff when I get off tomorrow. And no, I haven't messed with anything. But, the light just turns on... doesn't blink... just stays on. Any more ideas?

Hmmm....sounds like the little rubber hose underneath the cruise control actuator may have come off or sprung a leak. It's a small rubber vacuum hose that's part of the cruise control actuator. If it breaks or comes loose then the cruise control won't activate because there is no vacuum going to the actuator. The actuator needs vacuum to engage the throttle cable. You can find the actuator underneath the hood on the rear portion of the passenger fender right by the firewall. It's right next to the windshield wiper motor.
Anyhow, hope this helps...

ha ha ha. My P/S light turns on and blinks. But I am fixing that by removing the switches and installing my turbo timer in the hole. The best way to fix a problem is to just remove it!

I accidentally posted twice so I am editing this one to not say anything.

I have the same prob. but i found out what was wrong. On the left side corner (underneath the hood) their is the cruise control actuator or something. Well, check the plug that comes from the ECU and connects to the actuator. The plug has a rubber case around it and the actual plug is white. Mine was fried. That was the only thing i could think of. Check if your cable is still connected to the throttle body. I am having to get a new wireing harness because alot of my stuff is like that (frayed).
