Tire Kingdom is open until 8pm as well as Sears. That means you still have some time left! Since when do you spin through first?...

haha with my tornado superchargeR dawg! nah, they're just slick as hell tires i got from johny5 and now since im about to start driving the car regularly it needs some good tread.

yeah, the clutch fan removal and intake let lose like 150hp... w00t!

p.s. they're only 205/55/16's and they look fuggin mean. if they work out well i'll run them on my good rims when i upgrade that area. for now i'm not makin enough power to warrant larger rims in the rear.

i think the SE wheels look good on the S13 though. Those tires are nice, i'd get a set myself but i'm broke as crap.

running that exact same size and wheel ...held up pretty well at the track, but they did start bubbling after each session. Great tires, they need to keep 'em in pro duction! Unbeatable for the price.

I got two of them for the front of my car... I'd have gotten them all around but they don't make the rear size. :(

Dang, shipping & tax eats ass.. those should only cost you like $325 (give or take $10) out the door on the rims.

'Cause thats what it costs out here. (assuming you dont go to like... Sears or Wheelworks)

Good tires tho.

05-21-2005, 07:38 AM
yeah yeah doug but those front tires were still good right? they looked pretty agressive imo.

Ian

i'd say keep the old tires as fresh as possible and sell them to a drifter...they buy tires as fast as the crackheads sell them.

Those the tires that are OEM for the SRT-4? They look real familiar.

They're Azenis Sports, you gotta know that!

Tires are very nice, side walls are stupid stiff. I dislike mounting those tires on the old school tire machines though.

its my understanding that they have no wet or snow traction so i doubt they'd come on any production car.

johny- the fronts have lots of traction left they're just too wide so i'm putting them on my starion 16x7's so i can have a spare.. or two.

ya know, that is if the guys at walmart don't screw up all my tires and rims with their collective 70 iq. the chick was watchin a guy struggle to get one on and is like "well he's gotta learn sometime"....

yeah, and if he screws up my tires i have to wait another week for walmart to replace whatever is damaged. i wanted to deck her.

yeah, and good luck to walmart on FINDING another set of RT-215's...they're low stock everywhere!

very nice. Nothing brings me more pleasure than mounting wheels with brand new tires at the track with the stickers still on the rubber and destroying them in a couple hours.

THESE are made for sticking. now when i launch i hear "chirp chirp" then vrooooooooooooom "chirp". hehe. when i get a good diff the shizzle will be off the hizzle.

im thinking quaife.

Var
05-21-2005, 03:01 PM
quaife=waste of money. you can get the same performance from a s15hlsd for around 500 bucks

get a 1.5 way Kaaz or an S15 HLSD or a welded diff.

definitely get that s15 hlsd, I'm putting mine in my car monday possibly. Depending on how slow we are at work and all

MakotoS13

the only thing that i dont like abut the clutch diff is the fact that it locks when you turn. without getting too in depth, i'd like to avoid that.

Azenis SPort rocks. I rock these in wet too, when it was showering back in winter on the highway. I would feel my front end get "washed" to the side of the road as I go. Super dangerous, yet fun hehe. Damn I need more camber in the front. -3.5 with azenis sport = BYE BYE Understeer forever. :coold:

MakotoS13
05-21-2005, 10:54 PM
yeah the car drives surprisingly well with these tires and struts on their softest setting. the car is starting to feel civil AND sporty. i can just crank up the strength of the struts when i get to the track and blammoriffica!

what about costco ?

Coscto susposedly only mounts the tires you buy from them.

oh i got em on yesterday guys. they fill out the fenders really well. i'd be nice to have more rubber in the back but for using stock rims the hoes are pretty satisfactory. i'll post some pics later on.

if only Azenis Sports came in 225/50/16, ...or even better...245/45/16...

your cars coming along beautifully...do you plan on getting any kind of lip?

MakotoS13
05-23-2005, 05:11 PM
nope. i like it no lip look. especially since i hstill have clutch, diff, mounts, and power to keep me occupied.
