argh so i finally fixed the damned car. but the fun began after putting the motor and tranny in....
first drive-i drive about 10 minutes from my house, the bleeder on the slave cylinder comes loose, clutch goes dead, motor starts spitting oil from the main seal.
fixed that
next drive-after reaching normal running temp, the motor heats up rapidly, and starts smoking from anitfreeze leaking from the t-stat housing.
fix that, come to find out there was no t-stat in the damned car.
but now its again reliable, and the stage 2 clutch makes chirping 2nd fun and easy.
im saving up for more goodies, possibly an SR swap, but for now i need to finish the exhaust since i just have a hotshot header on there for now and attend to the body work and suspension.
so im going to pick up a 1988 twin cam pulsar, so i have something to beat around in while i work on the 240 so i dont hafta rush things.
